Hearing Protection

Customized hearing protection is a personal protective equipment (PPE) that is specifically made to the shape of your ears. Compared to universal hearing protection, this ensures a better fit as well as better wearing comfort. Custom earplugs can be used in a wide variety of situations and will always protect the wearer from harmful noise in noisy situations.

Since each area of application has specific needs, Variphone International will respond to these needs by offering products with different filters. For example, for shooting sports, an impact filter will be used to pick up sudden loud sounds. For musical situations, however, we opt for a linear way of muting, which preserves the sound quality of the music and you can therefore continue to enjoy music protected. Industrial noise will be attenuated with a non-linear filter to filter out the most harmful high frequencies but still keep speech understanding intact.

In order to make custom earplugs, an impression or a 3D scan of the ears will first have to be taken. This will then be processed in our production laboratory. We, at Variphone International, choose to support our production processes with 3D printing technology. This ensures that we can manufacture high-quality hearing protection with a very precise fit.

In order to guarantee the protective effect of hearing protection, our hearing protection is always checked with a function control during a personal delivery moment.
